Welcome
I am a writer, researcher, and communications professional based in Southern California. My work sits at the intersection of storytelling, public engagement, and project management, with a particular interest in how large-scale systems, institutions, and cultural narratives shape communities.

I recently completed my PhD in English at the University of California, Riverside, where my research examined infrastructure, mobility, and uneven geographies in nineteenth-century American literature. Alongside my academic work, I have developed experience in proposal development, strategic communications, project management, and stakeholder engagement, helping organizations translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.

I am the founder of West Coast Writing Tutors, where I provide one-on-one writing support to students, professionals, and researchers. I am also the creator of Cabinet of Curio, a public history project exploring the strange, overlooked, and surprising corners of American history and culture.

My cultural writing appears on Salt in the Orangerie, where I write essays on literature, history, place, and contemporary culture. Across all of these projects, I am interested in the same question: how stories help us understand the systems, institutions, and communities we inhabit.
